Canadian Sales

Because of shipping issues we have been forced to change our policy on foreign orders. The problem is the transfer from the US postal service to any foreign postal service. Once the package is handed off the original tracking number is null and void. It only tracks the package to the boarder. It's become an issue because packages to Canada have taken 4-8 weeks to get to the customer and some not arriving at all.

This situation ends with poor customer service even though it was completely out of our hands and that's not how we do business. My suggestion is to, please, talk to your local gun shops. We will be more than happy to take Canadian dealers and see that you get your Slipstream in an appropriate amount of time.

So, from this time forward we will not accept any individual Canadian orders. Any that come in will be refunded and an email sent informing the customer of this.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Policy Update for State and Local Agency Law Enforcement Sales:

In response to the recent and numerous new Anti-gun/Anti-2nd Amendment laws passed and/or pending across our country, Crusader Weaponry has been forced to reconsider the sale of products to state and local agencies in those states.

Effective immediately, in an effort to see that all sales are legal, Crusader Weaponry and/or its employees, will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to the local law enforcement / government agencies of those states. This means that if the citizens of any given state are no longer able to legally own our firearms we will not sell to any local/state/governmental law enforcement agency in that state.

State and local laws have always been a serious concern of Crusader Weaponry. We can not, in good conscience, arm governmental agencies in states that infringe on the constitutional rights of their residents.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Joe “Gundoc” Chetwood
CEO/Lead Gunsmith
Crusader Weaponry

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Policy Update for Federal Law Enforcement Sales:

Crusader Weaponry is a firm believer in the right of the individual to own firearms We believe it is a person's right to make their own choice as to what type of arms they choose to own, and not the choice of the government. We believe that current laws being proposed in congress are an infringement on the Second Amendment. In response the Crusader Weaponry ownership has made the decision to change our federal law enforcement sales policy.

Effective immediately, in an effort to support our customers and their right to own the firearm of their choosing, Crusader Weaponry will no longer sell to any law enforcement agency or federal entity that is willing to enforce any anti gun laws that have been or will be passed. Therefore, all agencies will be asked their stance on these issues before we will decide to do business with them.

Firearm related laws have always been a serious concern of Crusader Weaponry. We can not, in good conscience, arm governmental agencies that are willing to infringe on the constitutional rights of the citizenry they claim to serve.

Thanks in advance for your understanding-

Joe "Gundoc" Chetwood
CEO/Lead Gunsmith
Crusader Weaponry

Lead Times Announcement

Crusader Weaponry has a history of building the best custom rifles on the planet with lead times half that of other custom builders. Unfortunately due to the nationwide surge in demand for AR-15 parts, availability has become an issue. We could keep the short lead times, and use lesser quality parts, or we can not compromise on quality and increase the expected lead times. We didn't start Crusader to make a rifle that was short of the very best. We'll wait for our suppliers to get us the best parts. As a result, our expected lead times have increased. We regret this, but we will not compromise on the quality of your rifle.

Keep the Faith.
Crusader Weaponry

We've come to a time when we have to alter things for our Canadian brethren. We'll still be taking care of you, don't worry. Our system isn't set up to calculate the shipping difference to get your orders to you. Shipping to you costs twice as much and in the past this hasn't been an issue. We were happy to pay the extra shipping ourselves for the three or four of you a year that ordered. Well, now it more like three or four a month. What I'm going to ask you to do is just send us a message on our contact page. Let us know what you're wanting to order and we'll make the shipping calculations and send you a payment link.

Thank you for your patience in this and we look forward to taking care of you in the future.

-GunDoc

Slipstream STYX

It's been a long time coming but this month marks the official launch of Slipstream's latest formula. The Slipstream we all know and love isn't going anywhere, don't worry, but Slipstream STYX has some added benefits. We upped the corrosion protection in this formula for our brethren that need it.

Sure, the military has been using the original Slipstream in small doses for some time now and mostly through our "For the Troops" program. The biggest difference is that Styx was formulated specifically with the military in mind and bares that fact on it's label. Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, we have the corrosion protection you need for the salt spray environments you operate around with the added lubrication that Slipstream brings.

Now, don't think we forgot about our CCW friends here at home. Styx is also for you. We know summer time carrying in humid or coastal areas often results in rust. Well now you can keep rust away with ease and have the added lubricity you're use to from Slipstream.

So, head over to our shop section and click on the Styx page to order yours today.

I’ve been thinking all week about what to post today. My thoughts went to the events themselves. The ones that inspired patriotism and tears alike. I remember my wife waking me up that morning and flipping on the TV. The first plane…maybe the pilot had a heart attack or something. When a second plane came into view this was a nothing short of an attack on innocent civilians and I was ready for a call to battle. My wife was in tears when people started jumping from windows to escape the flames. I have to admit I had to hide a couple myself. The heroism of flight 93 will echo forever in our memories. “Lets roll”, has new meaning of not just 1950′s car movies but of American resolve to push back those that would try to injure our country. It’s a “don’t mess with us” battle cry now.

After a decade my thoughts still go to the same events but with different perspectives. I think of the victims families missing their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and so on. To our lost military and security contractors after 10 years of war that never would have touched their lives had it not been for cowards trying to make a point with their own suicides. I still come to the thought of “how dare they”. They have a problem with the way we live our lives so they commit an act of war against innocent people going about their day.

My wife had a song shared with her over Facebook yesterday. One that as a father of girls myself struck especially hard and memorializes today very well. I think it says it all today.

Though the wounds may heal over time never allow the memory of events, the slain, or their families fade from our memory. To those that died in the attach and in the war, we honor you, we love you, and your families will forever be in our hearts and prayers.

Crusader Weaponry was officially invited to attend the Ayoob Group’s MAG-40 Class in Salt Lake Sept 14-17. We will be there to show off some of Crusader’s Wares, Slipstream, and to have an awesome time with awesome people. This course is hosted by The Gun Dudes, and in attendance will be Daniel Shaw of Gunfighter Cast. We’re excited to finally hang out with Daniel. We consider him an old friend of Crusader since he was the first to interview us about Slipstream in our early days.

To be able to meet and take a class from Massad Ayoob is a big honor. To be able to show off Crusader to him and the other students is a bucket full of ice cold liquid awesome. This is going to be an EPIC week of training.

Slipstream News From the Troops

Our last buy in for the troops ended up with a good amount going to a groop of Recon Marines on the front. We don't often hear back from "Slipstream for the Troops" because, lets face it, they're a little busy. When the Gentleman making the contribution, Gene, asked if I knew if the packages arrived I didn't have an answer for him. So, Gene sent him a message to find out if our contact, for OPSEC we'll call him Sgt Mack, Got the Slipstream. Here is the reply;

"Tell him thank you very much and the Slipstream is being put to very good use. I kept 2 bottles for myself and passed the rest out to the guys in my Company. There are about 40 Recon Marines using that stuff on their guns every time they head out on a patrol and we are in the most kinetic area in Helmand. Lets just say the Taliban are not appreciating his gift, lol. Thank you very much for whatever you said to get him thinking about sending that stuff.

Sgt. Mack"
