Chief Armorer and CEO
Joe Chetwood has been shooting all his life and in fact remembers the first time his father handed him a rifle. It was at that moment that he knew shooting and firearms was all he wanted to do. This set him on the course that would one day become Crusader Weaponry.
After serving honorably in the Marine Corps Joe attended gunsmithing school where he graduated at the top of his class. Soon after graduation he began work for the Department of Energy picked as a contractor where he would further his education in gunsmithing in the D.O.E. basic and advanced armorers' courses, certifying him to work on a variety of military weapons. While with the D.O.E. Joe was able to work with a wide range of groups in an armorer capacity, such as Salt Lake County S.W.A.T, the U.S. Marine Corp, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy Special Boat Team, the British Royal Marines, and U.S. Secret Service.
The depth of Joe Chetwood's experience and expertise make Crusader Weaponry uniquely able to assemble the finest mission-specific rifles on the market today.
